Born on April 16, 1978, Jeanne Nicole Griffin made her entrance in the world in the Southern town of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Nikki, as her friends and family call her, spent most of her early childhood in Germany with her parents, who were working for the US government. She was back in the USA in time for high school, where she attended New Hanover High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. Coincidentally, Nikki's film teacher in high school was Marc Matney, who is known for doing English voice-overs for many foreign films. Although Nikki was a model when she was younger, she never had the vital connections needed to make a breakthrough in the business. After graduation, Nikki moved to Los Angeles with a friend, who ended up leaving after a month. Working hard, Nikki got a job at a restaraunt and met her manager after a year. Nikki began her career with extra parts in shows like "Dawson's Creek", "Dr. Vegas", "Jack and Bobby", and the film Summer Catch. Not too long after, Nikki was cast as Jess Sathers in the Fox hit show "The OC," where she went on to appear in seven episodes of. Since then, Nikki has been in films like Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough, and is most known for her role as Katie Johnson in the hit movie The Dukes of Hazzard. However, it's not over for Nikki - she is appearing in more upcoming films, such as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Trick or Treat, Bar Starz, and the horror flick The Tribe. One thing is certain: Nikki Griffin isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
